About Owatonna Sings
Owatonna Sings is a regional singing competition set to take place during 2023 GEM Days. Winners of this competition will proceed to the state contest - Minnesota Sings.
The competition will take place at 11 a.m. on Saturday, July 22, 2023 on the 300 block of North Cedar Avenue in the Showmobile.
The event features two divisions: 13-20 year-olds and 21 and older. The competitors sing to a backing track that each entrant will provide and cannot exceed five minutes and has to be memorized. The lyrics must be family friendly.

About 2023 Minnesota Sings
2023 Minnesota Sings is the competition between cities throughout Minnesota designed for amateur vocalists. Winners of our Owatonna Sings event will compete in the 10th Annual Minnesota Sings competition which will take place on Saturday, October 7 and Sunday, October 8, 2023.
The total prize package is $30,000!
